Kinfolk Next Gen
The Kinfolk Collective, in partnership with Portsmouth United, will implement a 6–8 week healing-centered entrepreneurship program for 8 school-aged girls identified as being at elevated risk of involvement in community violence in Portsmouth, Virginia. This program integrates trauma-informed healing circles with hands-on entrepreneurship training led by local business owners in cosmetology, candle-making, baking, and the culinary arts-areas identified as high-interest pathways.
